News to Note! (January 2010)
Greetings all! I hope this new year finds you all well. This last year has been
mighty tough for all of us (how's that "Hope and Change" working out for
ya?). Because of this I have had to make some changes with VRC Mercantile.
The Civil War category has been discontinued due to lack of interest. In its
place, however, I am branching into 18th Century items to cover French &
Indian War, Revolutionary War and the Golden Age of Piracy.
VRC Mercantile is in its Fourth year of providing museum-quality canvas
and leather reproductions for the Living-Historian. I sell no foreign-made
products! All items are exclusively made by me here in my shop (my "shop"
being the kitchen table whenever the wife or the cats allow me to have it). I
strive to make my products as accurately as possible by doing research,
examination of original items, comments from customers, etc. All leather
items are 100% hand-stitched using natural materials whenever possible.
All items are made to order so please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery! Please
check back regularly as new items will continue to be added. I also do
custom work so, if there is something you do not see, please feel free to
contact me and I’ll see what I can do for you. Prices are also subject to
change without notice or depending on the mood and /or the medication
dosage of the proprietor.
